If you find yourself struggling with MBE questions, and but don’t know the reason why you are struggling, consider taking JD Advising’s MBE Diagnostic to help you determine where your weak areas are. The MBE Diagnostic allows students to pinpoint their weaknesses, so that they can spend their bar exam preparatory period working on them.
What Is the MBE Diagnostic?
The MBE Diagnostic is a three-part questionnaire which poses questions on all seven MBE subjects. The three parts consist of a multiple-choice portion, and two short-answer portions. We do not recommend that students time themselves when taking the MBE Diagnostic. The idea of the diagnostic is to better allow them to answer questions to the best of their knowledge.
Where Do I Take The Test?
We do not confine students to a specific location, and can administer the test nationwide. We simply send you the test, and allow you to find a quiet area where you feel most comfortable. If you are in the metro Detroit area, you can take the test at our offices in Birmingham, MI.
What Will The MBE Diagnostic Tell Us?
Other commercial bar prep courses’ diagnostic test which focus only on your knowledge of a specific subject. Our MBE diagnostic primarily reveals whether you struggle with:
- comprehension
- memorization
- application
- something else (e.g., timing, language used by MBE questions, etc.)
By looking at the whole picture and pinpointing where your obstacles lie, we can diagnose your weaknesses and help you better prepare for the bar exam. We also give you tips on how to improve in each area above. For example, if you seem to know and understand the law but have trouble applying your knowledge, we will give you pointed tips on how to improve on your application.
