February 2019 Alabama Bar Exam Pass Rate Remains Low
February 2019 Alabama bar exam results were recently released. The pass rate remains low at only 35.5%. First-time bar exam takers passed at a rate of 55.0%. The pass rate for repeat takers was 25.5%.
This is not drastically different than the February 2018 Alabama bar exam pass rate where 32.5% of applicants passed. On that exam, the first-time taker bar pass rate was 58.7%. The repeat bar exam taker pass rate was only 14.6%.
If you failed the Alabama bar exam, it is important to come up with a good game plan. Just because the repeat bar exam pass rate is low does not mean you won’t pass the next exam! You just need to make sure you carefully evaluate what went wrong on the February bar exam so you can revamp your approach for July. Students who carefully reflect on what went wrong and work hard and efficiently to change their approach are often successful!
