July 2021 New York Bar Exam results should be released around the last week of October or the first week of November. ~~(Our formal guess of the release date is Wednesday, October 27, 2021, but it could really be anytime!)~~ ~~UPDATE 10/12/21: The New York State Board of Law Examiners said: “the Board expects to release the results of the bar exam by mid-December 2021.”~~ UPDATE 10/18/21: The New York State Board of Law Examiners said: “At this time, the Board expects to release the results of the July 2021 bar examination by no later than November 10, 2021.”

Wondering when the July 2021 Michigan Bar Exam Results will be released? We are too! The Michigan Board of Law Examiners states that Michigan Bar Exam results are released mid-November but in reality, they usually are released earlier than that. However, we suspect there will be some delays in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the July 2021 Michigan Bar Exam will be administered remotely. The July Washington D.C. Bar Exam results are usually released around mid-to-end October. However, this year, the exam is being administered ONLINE only. So, it is much harder to make a prediction! Michigan Bar Exam Results – Clerical Error Led to Score Report Mistakes for 17 Bar Exam Takers

Alexis Smith-Scott, a Wayne State University Law School graduate and JD Advising course student, received inaccurate information that she failed the February 2021 Michigan bar exam.

First, her seat number was not on the bar exam pass list, released by the Board. She got this bad news as she was on vacation in New York celebrating Mother’s Day with her family. This was terrible news to receive.
Secondly, Alexis called the Board to confirm that she failed the bar exam. They confirmed that she did in fact, fail the bar exam.
Third, Alexis’s name was not on the initial list of names of applicants who passed the bar exam.
Lastly, Alexis received an official score report stating that she received a failing bar exam score. She would have to take the bar exam again.

Note that this was not just a seat number mix-up. Examinees received official score reports stating that they had failed the bar exam, as well as a complete score report. Read more
