Are you thinking of going to law school? Have you been studying for and are planning on taking the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)? If so, we recommend taking our mock LSAT on July 29, 2017 at Wayne State University Law School. The test will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately five hours. It is free to students taking the LSAT and is comprised of actual LSAT released questions. So far we have 107 students signed up!

Why should you take a mock LSAT?
As many tutors and LSAT preparation companies will tell you, the best way to study for the LSAT is to practice, practice, practice. While students often practice separate sets, it’s also important to take the test under simulated conditions. In fact, even the Law School Admissions Council recommends that students take the LSAT under simulated conditions. This is because taking the test under simulated conditions allows you to determine how much time you will need for each question and each section, how well you work under timed conditions, and which areas you may need additional practice in prior to the exam.
Taking the test under timed conditions will also let you test your endurance and prepare you for the actual test day. This will familiarize you with the format of LSAT questions and prepare you for your test day!
What is the importance of your LSAT score?
Your LSAT score and undergraduate GPA largely determine what law schools accept you, and how much merit based scholarship money you qualify for. Therefore, it is extremely important that students place great weight on their LSAT preparation. Many people aim for their dream school’s median LSAT score for admission. However, we recommend that you target a score much higher than the school’s average. Why? Your Grade Point Average (GPA) might not be as high as your dream school’s average GPA. Also, the higher your LSAT score, the more merit-based financial aid you are eligible for. As a result, we can’t stress it enough: practice, practice, practice. And, if it is possible, practice under simulated conditions.
