How are the materials created?

We create our Michigan Essay Course materials by reviewing every single exam provided by the State Bar of Michigan since 1990 through the present date. Then, we draw attention to the issues that are most frequently tested and those recently tested. Finally, we ensure that our students really learn these issues.

What does the course include?

If you sign up for the Michigan Essay Course, you will receive instruction by Meagan Jabbori for the Michigan-specific essay subjects. This instruction is covered in seven classes.

You also receive outlines for the Michigan specific subjects (these do not include the MBE subjects). We tailor our outlines precisely to the Michigan bar exam. We also tell you exactly what you need to know and do not need to know to pass, and we highlight the highly-tested issues!

Students who sign up for the Michigan Essay Course also receive our How to Pass the Michigan Bar Exam book which continues to receive rave reviews from bar exam takers all over the state.

Students also receive weekly to-do lists to keep them on track, extensive essay grading with personalized feedback and updated essays, which include updated model answers from 1995 to the present date.

Lastly, students in our Michigan Essay Course also receive our predictions of what will be tested on the Michigan bar exam.  JD Advising consistently accurately predicts 1/3 to ½ of the issues tested on the Michigan bar exam.
