Wondering how to spend your last few weeks of bar preparation in order to maximize your chance of success? Sign up for our Michigan Bar Exam seminar. The seminar consists of an in-depth review of the highly-tested Michigan distinctions for the multistate subjects (Constitutional Law, Contracts and Sales, Torts, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Criminal Law and Procedure, Real Property) as well as the highly-tested areas of Michigan law that are very likely to be tested again (this will cover highly-tested portions of all remaining areas of Michigan law that could be tested – Secured Transactions, Corporations, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Property, Domestic Relations, Agency, Partnership, Conflicts of Law, etc. ).  An outline “booklet” of approximately 50 pages will be provided to all students who attend.

Michigan bar exam seminarThe Michigan bar exam seminar is taught by Ashley Heidemann, who scored over a 180 on the Michigan bar exam in February 2011 and has been tutoring for every administration ever since.

The seminar for the July 2015 bar exam will be held on Saturday, July 11 at the Westin Hotel and Conference Center in Southfield, Michigan. The seminar itself takes a few hours. Ms. Heidemann answers the questions of all students at the seminar and stays after to guide students and answer any questions they may have their last week and a half of bar exam preparation.  Sign up early since spots fill up quickly.

Our last Michigan Bar Exam Seminar was held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Westin Hotel and Conference Center in Southfield, Michigan and it was a huge success.

Why will I be at an advantage if I attend the Michigan Bar Exam Seminar? 

We provide high-quality and highly-tested information in an easy-to learn, concise format. We make the outline and design the lecture for this seminar by literally reading through every past bar exam from 1990 on. Then we look at the Michigan distinctions that are commonly tested as well as the most highly-tested and recently-tested issues. We use that information to decide the key areas of law to include in our outline.

We predict the questions on the upcoming bar exam. When we provided the “Michigan Distinctions lecture” for the July 2014 bar exam we accurately predicted many of the issues on the bar exam including:

  • The No-Fault question on noneconomic damages,
  • The 100-Mile Rule issue in the Domestic Relations question,
  • The business judgment rule issue in the Corporations question,
  • That hearsay (including Party Admission and Present Sense Impression) would be tested on the Evidence question;
  • That the elements of a valid trust would be tested in the Trusts question (and that there would be a Trusts question!)
  • That the 20-factor IRS test would be tested in Workers’ Compensation exam.

Note: We make no guarantees that the information that we go over will be tested on the upcoming July 2015 Michigan bar exam. However, we will go over the highly-tested information that is likely to appear again.
