The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) recognizes JD Advising as a woman-owned business.  JD Advising is proud to receive this recognition from one of the largest third-party certifiers of woman-owned, controlled, and operated businesses in the United States.  JD Advising is over 51% owned, controlled, operated, and managed by women.

JD Advising was founded and is currently owned by Ashley Heidemann, who graduated #1 in her law school class and scored a top score on the bar exam. She founded JD Advising to help law students excel in law school and pass the bar exam.

Leadership roles within the company are primarily held by women.  JD Advising is proud to support and empower women in every aspect of their legal careers.

• JD Advising sponsored and spoke at several Women’s Bar Association events.
• JD Advising also recently started a “Women Empowering Women” campaign at select law schools. Through this program, JD Advising donates money to a women’s law group for each law student who signs up for a JD Advising bar review course.
