If you are looking for recent data on bar exam pass rates, you are in luck! The NCBE has recently released detailed information on bar exam passage rates by various categories — including:

• bar exam pass rates by state
• bar exam pass rates by legal education
• bar pass rates of first-time takers v. repeat takers
• bar pass rates of examinees that go to ABA-approved law schools
• bar pass rates of examinees that go to non-ABA approved law schools
• attorney examination pass rates
• bar pass rates for disbarred or suspended attorneys
• ten-year summary of bar pass rates (overall and repeat takers

You can see all of these links by clicking below. Keep in mind that the 2019 bar exam pass rates are higher than the 2018 bar pass rates. There was a boost in the July 2019 pass rate, which students and law schools are all very happy about! We are hoping this trend continues in 2020. However, statistical data has not yet been released about 2019 bar exam pass rates so the data below relates to information from 2018.
