We Wrote 100% of the Passing Bar Exam Appeals in the State of Michigan for the July 2018 Michigan Bar Exam!

The Heidemann Jabbori Law Firm is thrilled to announce that we wrote ALL of the bar exam appeals that passed in the State of Michigan for the July 2018 Michigan bar exam administration.

Update 1/1/23: Michigan no longer allows examinees to appeal their bar exam score! We will no longer be writing appeals for Michigan Bar Exam takers.

Six bar exam appeals passed in total:

• One passed from Michigan State University
• Two passed from the University of Detroit Mercy
• Two passed from Wayne State University
• One passed from an out of state law school

The passage rate for the July 2018 Michigan bar exam is 67%. The first-time taker passage rate is 76%.

We had hoped more applicants would pass on appeal as we had plenty of applicants with essays worthy of higher scores. The Board was more generous last July when it passed eleven appeals (of which we wrote ten). The Board has swung in the opposite direction in only passing six appeals this administration.
