for February 2017 Bar Exam
The Michigan Board of Law Examiners’ only passed seven Michigan bar exam appeals in the State of Michigan for the February 2017 administration.
We are thrilled to have written five of those appeals. Of the passing appeals that we wrote, three clients passed needing only one point on appeal. One passed needing two points. One passed needing three points.
Update 1/1/23: Michigan no longer allows examinees to appeal their bar exam score! We will no longer be writing appeals for Michigan Bar Exam takers.
We Wrote 5 of 7 Passing Michigan Bar Exam Appeals
for February 2017 Bar Exam
Of the seven total appeals that passed in the State:
- 2 appeals passed from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law
- 2 appeals passed from the Michigan State University College of Law
- 3 appeals passed from WMU Cooley Law School
While we were happy to have written five of the seven passing appeals, we were disappointed that only seven appeals total passed in the State of Michigan for the February 2017 bar exam. This is especially given the extremely low bar exam passage rate in the State of Michigan (49%). And also given the extremely difficult essay exam.
For the July 2016 bar exam administration, we wrote 5 of the 6 passing appeals in the state. We are happy to keep up our high percentage of passing appeals.
