In a nutshell, we provide students with small-group setting instruction with a live instructor.  We also have tailored outlines, with weekly to-do lists, weekly essay grading, and provide students with NCBE released MBE questions.

JD Advising’s Courses and Seminars  For The Uniform Bar Exam

Uniform Bar Exam Course

This course provides individualized instruction in a small group setting. We do everything we can to make sure you are on a path to passing the bar exam. We keep track of each student, providing individualized essay and personal feedback. Furthermore, we also meet with students one-on-one. Many students who are repeat takers, who did not do well in law school, or who crave more personalized attention find this course to be the perfect fit. We specialize in helping those who are statistically less likely to pass achieve a passing score on the bar exam.

This course meets for approximately 25 sessions. In this course, students receive fifty hours of instruction. In addition, it included outlines for each MBE and MEE subject, released MBE, MEE, and MPT questions with model answers, MEE and MPT frequency charts, MEE One-Sheets, weekly to-do lists, and essay grading. Multistate Essay Exam (MEE) Course

Many students choose our MEE course to maximize their score on the MEE. Some students take this course because they are worried about the MBE and want to do everything they can to maximize their essay writing skills because essays are their strength! (And in most jurisdictions you do not need a specific score on each portion – you just need an overall total passing score!) Other students choose this course because they truly need help with writing, structure, organization, and substantive law. They want to know the issues tested on the MEE and exactly how to tackle them. We have first time takers, repeat takers, and international students sign up for this course.

Our Multistate Essay Exam (MEE) course goes over all of the MEE subjects and gives students outlines for all MEE-specific subjects (Agency & Partnership, Corporations & LLCs, Secured Transactions, Conflict of Laws, Decedent’s Estates, Trusts, and Family Law) plus ten hours of instruction in a small-group setting in January. Multistate Essay Exam Seminar

Our Multistate Essay Exam (MEE) Seminar highlights the most highly-tested areas of law on the MEE and specifically focuses on predictions! The seminar for the July 2017 bar exam covered 90% of the topics tested! The seminar for the February 2017 bar exam covered 70% of the topics tested on the MEE. It is an extremely efficient approach to the MEE.

The seminar is offered live online.  Students who sign up for the seminar receive a hard copy of a 45-page booklet ahead of the seminar, which covers the topics most likely to appear on the MEE, our predictions for which topics will appear on the MEE, MEE and UBE/MEE essay frequency charts, a one-page or two-page summary of the highly tested issues on the MEE for every single topic, MEE tips and tricks, including tips for the last two weeks of bar exam prep, and an overview of the recent cases that could appear on the bar exam.  For more information, click here!

Michigan Bar Exam Course 

This course provides individualized instruction in a small group setting. We do everything we can to make sure you are on a path to passing the bar exam. We keep track of each student, provide individualized essay feedback and personalized feedback to each student and we meet with students one-on-one. Many students who are repeat takers, who did not do well in law school, or who crave more personalized attention find this course to be the perfect fit. We specialize in helping those who are statistically less likely to pass achieve a passing score on the bar exam.

This course meets for approximately 25 sessions. It included all MBE and Michigan outlines, past exam questions and answers with legal updates, our “How to Pass the Michigan Bar Exam” book, our predictions for the Michigan bar exam, essay feedback, study schedules and homework assignments, one private consultation and one private tutoring session. Michigan Essay Course

Many students choose our Michigan essay course to maximize their score on the essay portion of the Michigan bar exam. Some students take this course because they are worried about the MBE and want to do everything they can to maximize their essay writing skills because essays are their strength! (In Michigan, you need a specific score on each portion of the exam- you just need an overall total passing score of 135!) Other students choose this course because they truly need help with writing, structure, organization, and substantive law. They want to know the issues tested on the Michigan bar exam and exactly how to tackle them. We have first time takers and repeat takers sign up for this course every administration.

This course meets for 7 sessions. Students in this course are provided with outlines for all Michigan topics, a copy of our “How to Pass the Michigan Bar Exam” book, past bar exam questions and answers with legal updates, essay feedback, study schedules and homework assignments, our predictions for the exam, and one private consultation. Michigan Bar Exam Seminar

Our Michigan Bar Exam Seminar highlights the most highly-tested areas of law on the essay portion of the Michigan bar exam and specifically focuses on predictions! The July 2017 Michigan bar exam seminar covered 11 of the 15 subjects tested on the essay portion! The seminar for the February 2017 bar exam covered 70% of the topics tested on the MEE. It is an extremely efficient approach to the MEE.

Our Michigan Bar Exam Seminar highlights the highly-tested areas of law on the essay portion of the Michigan bar exam.  The Seminar is offered in person at various law schools in Michigan and our offices located in Birmingham.  Students who sign up for the Seminar receive a detailed handout. The Seminar provides students with an in-depth review of the Michigan distinctions for the multistate subjects, the highly-tested topics on the essay portion of the Michigan bar exam, tips for the last two weeks of bar exam preparation, new cases that are likely to appear on the Michigan bar exam and also predictions on what we anticipate will be coming up!
