JD Advising is looking for Tutors who are confident in their abilities and understanding of the law yet are coachable and continually striving to improve. We value competency as well as enthusiasm in our Tutors, as tutoring is more than just explaining the law.

JD Advising Law School Tutors support students in their understanding of the law in preparation for class and exams. This includes explaining substantive law and helping students with time management, outlining, and exam prep.

JD Advising Bar Exam Tutors help prepare examinees by providing an efficient and personalized approach to bar prep. Tutors are responsible for explaining substantive law and providing help with study techniques to maximize examinees’ chances of success on the bar. Uniform Bar Exam Tutors are responsible for tutoring the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) and all its components (MBE/MEE/MPT) as well as the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE).  California Bar Exam Tutors are responsible for providing examinees with the knowledge and support they need to pass the Californian Bar Exam. In addition to preparing for and participating in tutoring sessions, Tutors provide written examinees feedback on essays and performance tests.
