Free Speech For Michigan Bar Exam Takers!
Free Speech For Any Bar Exam Takers in Michigan! Ashley Heidemann, founder of JD Advising, will be giving a free speech to all bar exam takers in Michigan. First-time bar exam takers, repeat bar exam takers, law students, and family and friends are welcome to attend. She will talk for approximately one hour about strategies, secrets, and tips for the Michigan Bar Exam. Students who have attended the speech in the past have stated that the speech was extremely impressive and “opened their eyes” to how they should truly be studying for the bar exam.
Ms. Heidemann scored a top score of 182 on the Michigan bar exam in February 2011 and has been teaching courses and tutoring for the Michigan bar exam ever since. Her firm also wrote half of the passing bar exam appeals for the state of Michigan in July 2015.
Her lecture will cover:
- How to study for the bar exam,
- The subjects that are most heavily tested on the essay portion of the bar exam,
- The topics that are most heavily tested on the essay portion of the bar exam, as well as which topics are most likely to come up (and an overview of these topics),
- How to write bar exam essays to get the most points,
- The subjects that are most heavily tested on the MBE portion of the bar exam,
- The best source of MBE questions, and
- How to answer multiple-choice questions so that you improve through practice.
- We will briefly discuss JD Advising services that may interest students.
You will also receive a 30-page handout with an explanation of these strategies as well as a detailed list of highly-tested subjects and topics. Ms. Heidemann will stay late to answer any questions you may have.
The seminar is free and is open to 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, and any bar exam takers (including repeat bar exam takers) or interested parents or relatives. While it is geared toward those taking the July 2016 bar exam, it is helpful for everyone.
The speech will be given at the following dates and times:
