Where to find MEE Student Answers

In this post, we will discuss resources where you can find MEE student answers. We also give you a word of caution about using MEE student answers as a resource when you study.

A word of caution before you look at MEE Student Answers:  MEE student answers are not as helpful as, for example, MPT student answers. The reason for this is that many times the MEE answers do not always identify the issues or precisely state the law. In fact, sometimes they state the law completely incorrectly!

So while it is not a bad idea to look at them to see the general layout of the student answer or get an idea of what a decent answer looks like, we strongly advise against solely using MEE student answers as your study tool. Instead, it is imperative that you examine the answers promulgated by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE). The NCBE is the organization that writes the sample answers. Free online resources where you can find MEE Student Answers

Multistate essay exam student answers are also available online for free. Here are a few resources where you can find MEE student answers for free. (Note: These resources do not come with MEE analyses so you will have to find those separately – e.g. in our MEE books or in your bar exam course materials!)

• The New York Board of Bar Examiners has MEEs and student answers since when they adopted the UBE in July 2016.
• The Minnesota Board of Bar Examiners has student answers from February 2014 and on.
