You can request a new tutor or a full refund after your first session—no questions asked.

How many sessions should I buy?

It depends on your needs, but many students purchase 10 hours to start. However, if you scored low on a previous bar exam or have taken the bar exam more than once, the 25-hour package may be a better fit. We can help you decide what you need if you book a call with us!

When can I start tutoring?

Usually within 24–48 hours of purchasing. We’ll reach out as soon as possible during business hours to match you with a tutor.

Will I get outlines or materials?

Yes! Our tutoring packages (of 10 hours or more) include our premium bar exam outlines + essay feedback (for essay-based sessions).

Can I choose my tutor?

Yes! You can request a tutor and we will do our best to match you with them. Or, let us recommend one for you based on your needs and goals.

What happens during a typical tutoring session?

Not to be dramatic, but as someone who has had to retake the bar exam multiple times and started to lose my confidence, JD advising tutoring changed my life. I took the July 2021 Bar Exam and scored a 258. I knew that in order to pass the exam I would need to change the way I studied and prepared.
