JD Advising is thrilled to announce the 2022 class of JD Advising Scholars. After a very competitive application cycle, we are excited to have 50 scholars in the program. These scholars are first-year students attending law schools across the nation.

Our students are attending prestigious law schools such as Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, Columbia Law School, Duke University School of Law, Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, University of Michigan Law School, University of California Berkeley School of Law, University of Virginia School of Law, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, University of California Los Angeles School of Law, University of Southern California Gould School of law, The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, University of Notre Dame Law School, Emory Law, Fordham University School of Law, SMU Dedman School of Law, Howard University School of Law, Michigan State University College of Law, Wayne State University Law School, University of Detroit Mercy Law School of Law, George Washington University Law School, Syracuse University College of Law, and the William S. Scholars who are accepted to the program receive the following:
- 10 hours of one-on-one tutoring before and throughout the first semester of law school (valued at over $2,000!)
- JD Advising Law School One-Sheets
- JD Advising Law School Study Aids (outlines, flashcards, short-answer questions, multiple-choice questions, and more!)
- Access to firm panels and networking events
- Potential access to mentorship by a law firm sponsor
To be eligible for the JD Advising Law School Scholars Program, first-year law students must meet the following requirements:
- Must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school for the upcoming fall.
- Must have a minimum of either a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or a 160 LSAT score.
- Must identify as a member of an underrepresented racial, ethnic, or gender group, a member of the LGBTQ community, or disabled.
We are very excited about the 2022 class of JD Advising scholars and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in law school and their careers.
