Wait Until After The Bar Exam To Apply

Like we mentioned above, your goal should be to pass the bar exam. To do that, you’ll need to remain focused on studying and preparing for the bar exam. That means avoiding the time and effort that goes into searching, applying, and interviewing for jobs during the study period prior to the bar exam. That process takes time, which should be spent focused passing the bar exam! The appropriate time to start hunting for jobs is after you take the bar exam and before results are released. This is somewhat of a limbo zone for students and a great opportunity to search for employment!

Enjoy Your Time Away From A Job

At the end of the day, remember that you have the rest of your life to work! Not having a job after you pass the bar exam means you can take the time you need to unwind from the test. Take a post-bar trip or get back into hobbies you may have pushed to the side when studying! Taking the bar exam is an exhausting process. For students that don’t have a job waiting on them, they have no obligations to a law firm or company. Taking the bar exam and having to be in the office the following Monday? This doesn’t sound so ideal. Enjoy the time off.
